Benefits, Disbursement and Obligations
- $6,250 per year of education and training
Scholarship disbursement
Scholarship recipients will have scholarship funds credited to their financial aid account at the beginning of the school year and dispersed in accordance with the institution's standard scholarship disbursement regulations.
Recipient obligations
The recipient agrees to:
- Accept the scholarship award by signing a contract and complying with all requirements;
- Maintain continuous enrollment (minimum of six (6) hours each semester) until completion of the course of study for which the scholarship award is provided;
- Maintain good academic standing, along with Financial Aid satisfactory academic progress while enrolled in the course of study for which the scholarship award is provided;
- Serve one year of obligated service in a rural area for each year the scholarship award is provided with a minimum of 12 consecutive months. The total years of required service must be completed consecutively.
